Style Direction & Colour

In-person + online consultation

Discover your personal style — and express who you are with confidence. This all-encompassing consultation blends some prep work, some self-reflection, and a face-to-face (or online) session to uncover the styles, aesthetics, and shapes that naturally suit you.

You'll learn how to work with your body's lines and proportions, understand why certain clothes flatter you while others don't, and discover how to build outfits that reflect both your physical features and your personality.

  • Drawing on my expertise as a personal style specialist, I’ll guide you through:

    • How to dress for your vertical and horizontal body shape

    • What clothing styles, cuts, and fabrics suit you best

    • How your personality influences what you wear — and how to align your wardrobe with your values

    • How to choose accessories like hats, jewellery, and glasses that suit your face shape and style

    • Principles for building cohesive, intentional outfits

You'll leave with a deeper understanding of how to make clothes work for you — not against you.

Your Style Direction consultation also includes a full Colour Analysis — ensuring that the clothes you choose will not only fit and flatter you, but also light you up.

  • After our session, you’ll receive your own personalised Style File: a collection of notes, advice, colours and images tailored specifically to you. This file will become your practical guide for analysing clothes, shopping with clarity, and creating outfits that feel authentic and effortless.

  • Step 1: Explore
We start by uncovering who you are, what you want to express, and what shapes, styles and aesthetics naturally suit you.

    Step 2: Create
I’ll build your customised Style File with detailed advice, practical examples, and inspiration based on everything we discover together.

Face Shape Guide

Digital download

Understanding your face shape is one of the simplest ways to sharpen your style — because no matter what you wear, your face is always the first thing people see. These guides give you practical tips for choosing glasses, jewellery, hairstyles, and necklines that work with your natural features, helping you pull every outfit together with confidence.

Each face shape has distinct lines and proportions — some are curved, some angular, some long, some wide. While no face fits one category perfectly, most align closely with one of eight shapes. Find out more below.

  • While no face fits perfectly into a single category, faces can generally be grouped into the following eight shapes:

    • Oblong: Long with curves. Oblong faces are slightly longer and less tapered at the forehead and jawline than Oval faces.

    • Oval: Long with curves, like Oblong, but slightly shorter and more tapered at the forehead and jaw.

    • Rectangle: Long with similar proportions to Oblong, but with strong angles instead of curves.

    • Square: Shorter than Rectangle. Square faces have almost equal width and length, with a strong, angular jawline.

    • Round: Similar proportions to Square, but with curved sides and a softer jawline instead of angles.

    • Diamond: Similar to Oval in overall length, but with angular sides and high, pointed cheekbones rather than smooth curves.

    • Heart: Not especially long or short. Heart-shaped faces are rounded at the forehead and taper down into a narrower, pointed chin.

    • Teardrop: Also not especially long or short. Teardrop faces have a narrower forehead and broaden into a gently curved jawline.

  • Start by looking at the basic structure of your face — its curves or angles, its proportions, and where it’s widest. If you need help working it out, I’ve created a simple guide to identifying your face shape.
